Literature Text

My father, my father, come out, to me,
I have something for thee,
Come out, come out to see your son!
I have something that must be done.

Are you at the throne?
Or in bed as the Wind of Fate chilled your bone?
I'll soon find you and take what is mine.
The hounds with soon feast on thine!

Where are your royal guards?
Oh, I sent them to be entertained by the bards,
You once said how you had trouble sleeping-
I'll help you with the maids, who are weeping.

My father, my father, where doth you be?
Come out and play with me!
I've trained well with each and every page
Just so I could find you at old age.

My father, my father, your death, to me, will be sweet,
As you lay at my feet.
I will open the window for all to see,
And then no one will think it was possibly me.
My son, my son, is this your kind of fun?
Take a moment to see what you've done!
The fields in ruins, the castle soon to destroy,
All because of one little boy!
