To be a Pirate, just today,
It is hard to be, to my dismay,
Especially one who in order to join the fray
Must not be blinded by any other way.
To be a Pirate, just tomorrow,
Is not much different, it tends to borrow
Today's unfortunate sorrow,
But it still will be done, just on the marrow.
To be a Pirate, just before,
Once was to be remembered, forevermore,
Not once, would you ever bore,
Your past, present, and future, eternally in lore!
To be a Pirate, just now,
Is to look across the ship's old bow,
I will learn, as can you can, just how,
The great bounties it will allow.
To be a Pirate, just anywhere,
People will or won't show you care,
In anyway, you still will find fare
In those who are true to your lair.
I am to be a Pirate, just to have my fill,
I will pay life its bill,
But in-til I face Death's hill,
To be a Pirate, I WILL!
